Lannick's interview

Can you tell us about your agency?

I opened a personal services business 2 years ago. Human services mainly involve working with the elderly, lots of elderly people, but also active people. We're mainly involved in home maintenance, but we can also provide vehicle accompaniment, meal preparation and a whole host of other services to help people in their daily lives at home.
What brought you to Fygr?

Like a lot of people, I started out by saying to myself, "I'm going to set up a business, I've got to keep track of my cash flow, it's extremely important, I'm going to make an Excel file". And I was lucky enough to meet a business manager who told me"No, don't do that, because you'll spend more time re-adjusting your spreadsheet as soon as a parameter changes, so try to find an application that exists on the market, an application to monitor your cash flow". That's when I discovered and used Fygr.
Previously, this was an area I knew absolutely nothing about. But we've just gone through Covid, and that's exploded the cash flow of companies, and that's where it was all the more important for me two years ago to say to myself "I need an application, I need a tool to monitor my cash flow, and even to anticipate it", and that's where Fygr came in.
What does Fygr do for you?

Every morning, in fact, I'm a bit like an old man, to say the least. I have my little habits, and in my habits, I have a process which is to say that this must be the third thing I do when I arrive in the morning. I open my Fygr application and I actually look at what my inputs and outputs have been, I classify them, and that's extremely important.‍
It also allows me to aggregate because I have two banks, so rather than going to open one bank, check what's been done, open another bank, check what's been done, Fygr actually aggregates all that for me and I can see at a glance what's happened.

It actually makes my daily life easier.‍
Is there a before and after to Fygr?

Thanks to Fygr, I can now see the possible changes in my cash flow, I can draw a parallel by saying to myself "Well, I had planned to spend 150€ a month on telephony, and then it turns out that there's 300€ a month, so why not?" So you can also quickly realize that there's a line item that's going overboard.
Fygr in three words?

In three words: "simplicity", "ergonomics", then it's going to be a false third I said earlier "value for money".

Would you recommend Fygr?

Really, it's worth all the Excel spreadsheets in the world. I wouldn't go to the trouble of creating an Excel file - it takes an incredible amount of time!
